I notice you didn't list any of the BBC sci-fi series: Dr Who, Torchwood, or (kids-oriented) The Sarah Jane Chronicles.  I hated the Dr Who from back in the 70's-80's, but this new incarnation is really, really good.  If you liked X-Files, you should love Torchwood.  One viewing tip: turn on the closed-captioning so you can understand what the hell they're saying.</description>
